Identifying the culture style of the organisation to uncover the unique employee value proposition

Business challenges

The client felt the need to establish its own identity by tweaking the current company culture and employee value proposition for their hub in Central Europe that would help the recruitment team to attract and retain more talent in a very competitive market.

The biggest challenge was creating a subculture that was compliant with the culture established globally by the primary stakeholders.

Talent Brandly Approach

The methodology used to assess the client’s cultural performance involved three stages: 1-2-1 interviews with stakeholders (including the VP of HR and Head of Employer Branding), a cultural survey of 93 employees and focus group workshops across the different business units. The business units surveyed were from different divisions: Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, Learning & Development.

The data from the interviews, surveys and workshops allowed us to identify the cultural area’s in which the individual client business units are performing and how they compare with each other, including with the market average.

Business Results

The findings identified the key Employer Value Proposition attributes and the key factors that are higher than the average at comparable firms to attract and retain talent.

Knowing these attributes allowed us to create an ideal candidate profile for each business unit as well as a company culture ID booklet with an employer branding and EVP message that conveys the real perception of every employee from the different divisions.

Last but not least, dedicated Landing Pages per job role with video messaging were created along with and a brand new career page design with a better brand message to attract more qualified talent and convert them into successful hires.

The client finally enjoyed an increase in brand recognition, higher levels of employee’s engagement, and increase of inbound candidate applications.
